Passion. Experience. Results.
Buzz Public Relations doesn’t blow smoke and there are no mirrors. We can put on a heck of a show for you—with bells and whistles and a disco ball if that’s what your business objectives require. But we won’t be trotting out the dogs and ponies in an attempt to impress you with flashy objects or pad our fees. We don’t have time for that.
What we do have time for is to help you tell your story through customized programs that align with your goals to get you where you need to be. We’re strategic in our communications process. Have a solid understanding of today’s digital landscape. And know how to leverage market-validation techniques that demonstrate quantifiable results. This is the only way we know how to do it right.
Why Buzz Public Relations?
Our mission is to help clients break through the clutter by keeping it simple in a world of complexity. Simply educate and inform, genuinely communicate, and authentically engage with target audiences so you attract the right customers.
Our unique ability to define and tell your story with value that gets attention, coupled with our candid approach to push back and change strategies to ensure your communications campaign is as successful as possible are why clients stick around.

Meet The Team
Dana started her career working in the music scene in her hometown of Austin, Texas before moving to Los Angeles where she handled celebrity clients like Neil Diamond, Tony Bennett and Motley Crue, red carpet movie premieres, celebrity authors and brands such as Candie’s Shoes. After moving back to Austin, she spent nearly 6 years working in the tech PR agency derby before establishing Buzz Public Relations in 2006 to focus on funded startups and high-growth companies in the tech sector. She quickly realized clients would be better served if she could build relationships with a select few and be part of the team.
She has successfully produced and publicized events such as The Austin Advertising Federation’s Big Wig Awards, The Women Communicators of Austin (WCA) Banner Brunch Awards, various fundraisers such as BlingFest: Playing It Forward and the annual Art From The Streets Show and Sale, alongside a number of feature-film documentary screenings for Art From the Streets locally and for Traffic Control: The People’s War On Internet Porn across the U.S.
Dana is an active mentor with Founder Institute and is a volunteer Image and Career Consultant for Dress For Success Austin. Dana has served on numerous Boards including Women Communicators of Austin, Freelance Austin, Austin Advertising Federation and Social Media Breakfast Austin. If she’s not volunteering or solving the world’s problems, you can usually find her hanging with her pup Lola, staying healthy in a HIIT class, or hanging with friends on a patio.
